Jacko’s Farm
By taking the path on the right of the Origin Isles fountain, you’ll come across Jacko’s Farm! This is home to Jacko and Jeckyl, who will handle all your farming needs!
At his farm, Jacko will sell you seeds to grow crops and will buy the crops you’ve harvested. You can sell a maximum of 3 stacks of crops to Jacko each in-game day. The type of crop he sells & buys, along with his trade limit, resets at 7 a.m. in-game time.
There are 8 different crops to choose from, with some being more valuable, but taking more time to grow. The longer a crop takes to grow, the more profit you will earn! Again, a crop that has been watered will grow one stage each in-game day at 7 a.m., whether you are in your realm or not!
- Lettuce & Chili: Requires 2 days of growth
- Eggplant: Requires 3 days of growth
- Pineapple & Corn: Requires 4 days of growth
- Apple, Mango, & Banana: Requires 5 days of growth
Jeckyl’s Wares
Next to the barn on Jacko’s farm, you can find Jeckyl. Here you can purchase planter boxes, soil, produce multiplying fertilizer, and some additional farming tools.
- Watering Cans: Allows you to hold 5 water uses instead of using a single bucket.
- Wooden Sprinklers: Holds up to 5 uses, and automatically waters all planter boxes within a 5 by 5 square.
- Iron Sprinklers: Holds up to 5 uses, and automatically waters all planter boxes within a 7 by 7 square.
Planter Boxes
At the core of our farming system are Planter Boxes, which can be placed in your Realm to grow any of our custom crops! Planter Boxes grow one seed at a time and can store more seeds for later. Each in-game day at 7 a.m., whether you are in your realm or not, any Planter Box that has been watered will automatically grow one stage.
Crop Quality
Having soil present when your crop begins to grow will increase your ability to harvest a higher star-quality crop. The more stars your crop has, the more it will sell for. Golden Crops have a rare chance of growing if a 3-star crop grows in your box. This is completely random and is designed to give that extra boost to those users who are growing good-quality crops!
By default, using a hoe to harvest your crop will automatically increase your chance of yielding a higher star-quality crop. This bonus increases as the quality of the hoe increases, meaning the most efficient hoe to use for farming is a Netherite Hoe.
Fertilizer
Fertilizer can be placed in Planter Boxes and has special effects for the crop it is used on.
- Produce Multiplier: Chance of receiving extra crops upon harvest. Obtained from Jeckyl’s market, Open World loot, and Legendary & Rare crate keys.
- Speed-Grow: Grows crops one day quicker. Obtained from Open World loot, and Legendary & Rare crate keys.
- Golden Goods: Guarantees golden crop growth. Obtained from Open World loot, and Legendary & Rare crate keys.
- 3-Star Guarantee: Guarantees 3-star crop growth. Obtained from Legendary & Rare crate keys.
Turkeys
Turkeys can be found roaming the Maple Forest biome of Open Worlds and Realms and can be brought back to your own Realm using Capture Nets. Turkey will peck and harvest any fully grown crop (other than golden crops) that is planted in the ground or grown in a planter box. They will peck them out of the soil and leave them behind to be collected by you, or maybe even your allay friend?
