Enchanting
The enchanting system on 메모리즈 is based around enchanting books and applying those books to your gear via an anvil.
Enchanting Table & Anvil
When placing a book in the enchanting table, you will see up to three options to choose from based on how many EXP levels you currently have.
- 1 level: 1 enchant option
- 2 levels: 2 enchant options
- 3 levels: 3 enchant options

Enchanting on 메모리즈 is not too dissimilar, with the exception of books, where the cost of enchanting is respective to the option you choose, e.g. option 3 will take 3 of your levels and 3 Lapis Lazuli to enchant your book.
Enchant options are unreadable if you don't have any bookshelves placed around your enchanting table. The more you bookshelves, the higher option enchants are translated.

Enchanted books are applied to gear in an anvil. Each type of gear has its own default number of enchantments it can have at one time, these are its enchantment slots.
Books
Aside from regular books, Specialized Enchantment Books can be purchased from Hedley in the Library basement, or found in structures throughout the Open World. These can be used in the enchanting table similar to a normal book, to receive only enchantments specific to the book type used. For example, when enchanting a 'Book of Swords', you will only receive enchantment options that can be applied to swords, making it far easier to find the enchant you're looking for.

Tomes are another type of book you can place into the enchanting table, but are used to change the 3 outcomes. Placing a Tome of Renewal into the enchanting table will provide 3 new enchantment options for a piece of gear, while a Tome of Reversal will provide the previous 3 options you saw.
On 메모리즈, every single different enchant will have a unique book texture, so you can tell what kind of enchants you come across at a glance! Enchants that you can only find through exploration of the Open Worlds, will have a glowing outline around them, these are called 'Treasure Enchants'.
For even more clarity, you can hover over any enchantment book to read a brief description, as well as see mini icons of the items that the book can be applied to. For example, you'll see mini diamond boots on a feather-falling book, indicating that they can only be applied to boots.

Ashes o' Enchanting
If you have any books that you don't need, you can repurpose them into 'Ashes o' Enchanting'. Put your Enchanted Books in a furnace and smelt them to turn them into ash. These ashes can be used in an anvil to repair tools that have “shattered” from the use of Protection Runes. An alternative use for these ashes is to use them as a potion ingredient, so you can recoup some of your lost EXP.

Runes
Runes are helpful tools for enchanting and can be found in structure chests throughout the Open Worlds. Runes are applied to gear via an anvil just like books, and have specific benefits depending on the rune used.
- Slot Rune: Adds another enchantment slot to a piece of gear, up to a maximum of 12 slots.
- Protection Rune: Prevents an item from fully breaking once running out of durability, “shattering” instead - which can be fixed with Ashes o’ Enchanting.
- Power Rune: Upgrades all enchantments on a piece of gear by 1 level, unless at their maximum level.
Bottled Experience
Your precious Experience can be bottled up using 'Soul Bottles' to keep it from disappearing when you die, or to share it with other players. You can find Soul Bottles exclusively in chest loot of Soul Shrines residing in the Soulsand Valley of the Nether. Once you have obtained a Soul Bottle, simply hold it and right-click, it will conveniently store all your EXP so you can use it again whenever you wish!
