Cosmetics
Get ready to express yourself and stand out from the crowd with our awesome collection of wearable cosmetics, gestures, and tool skins. From trendy hats to epic dance moves, we'll show you how to customize your character and make a statement in the game.
Wearable Cosmetics
With 4 different types, wearable cosmetics can be worn on your character as a great way to express yourself. Once you’ve gotten your hands on a cosmetic token, head over to Cosmo’s Cosmetics and talk to Cosmo.
Once you have redeemed your first cosmetics, step into the Wardrobe to begin customizing your character! Here you’ll see different tabs for the 4 cosmetic types: Hats, Backswags, Props, and Balloons. Cosmetics you own have a green background and can be equipped by clicking on them, and selecting what color you’d like it to be if the cosmetic is paintable.

Wearable Cosmetic Finishes
Upon rolling on a paintable cosmetic, you will also have a very rare chance of unlocking a special finish token alongside the cosmetic you won. These very rare tokens can be used to unlock ultra-special visual styles for the specified cosmetic within the wardrobe painting table!
If you happen to get your hands on a Cosmetic Finish Token, you can either redeem it at Cosmo’s Cosmetics like a normal Cosmetic Token, or trade it away to other players. If you do want to trade it, be sure to take note of the high-value finishes tend to have based on their rarity!

Gestures
Gestures allow you to convey different emotions, movements, and dances. All users will receive 6 free gestures by default, and the other 50+ can be found within the crates obtained from the store or loot structures in the open worlds!

Once you’ve gotten your hands on a Gesture Token, head over to Jester’s Gestures at the Origin Isles Carnival. By holding the Token and talking to Jester, you can redeem the token to gain access to that specific Gesture. If you ever wish to withdraw the token, talk to Jester again and shift-click the Gesture you want to withdraw.

Gestures are accessed by typing /g anywhere in the world, which brings up a menu of your favorite Gestures. You can change those options however you like, and access the full list of Gestures you have access to from this menu.
Tool Skins
Tool skins are cosmetics you can apply to your existing tools to give them a fresh new look and particle effects, while still keeping all of the properties of the actual tool you’ve placed the skin on.
Once you have obtained a tool skin, you can take it to Boulder and apply it via the forging menu. Tool skins can be placed on any tool regardless of its kind and it will adapt the qualities of that tool, including Relic tools. You can remove skins from tools via Boulder also.
